Reading “E.I. = $” by Jeremy G. Preston has given me an easier way to budget my finances, and has allowed me to set up a system that shows how my money is spent. This financial empowerment system shows me where I spend my money and when to limit spending. Now, I can actually track how much of my money is spent every month. This is a great book for anyone looking to save money in this trying economy. The 10 steps of financial empowerment really work. Read now, save now. Thanks Jeremy!

I have been struggling with debt since I became old enough to attain my own credit card. Intermittent measures had been put in place to reduce this debt and gain a minimal amount of financial freedom. While being able to marginally control debt, the financial independence I have sought has seemed distant. Compound this with children, education loans, mortgage, and other items this goal has continued to be unreached. After reading E.I. = $, I have found a way to assess my finances and take incremental measures to achieve a financially successful life. While not being able to reach this goal overnight, I have a better chance to reach this independence by using the steps outlined in Mr. Preston’s book. It is all about assessment, setting goals, thinking long term and staying focused. I was relieved to find a financial literacy book that put the essence of money management in a clear and understandable manner.
